Louisville, Ky. (February 22, 2024) - After a very successful regular season, the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center will host KTCCCA Elementary and Middle School Indoor Track State Meets this Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, Eastern High School recently added a final regular season high school meet to the schedule for Friday, February 23. Eastern Last Chance was created to give local athletes one last chance to qualify for next week's KHSAA Indoor Track State Meets. Another Middle School Monday Indoor Track meet will be hosted on Monday, February 26 rounding out a jam-packed weekend of indoor track meets in Louisville.
This weekend's meets include:
- Friday, February 23 - Eastern Last Chance - Doors open at 3:30 pm. Meet starts a 5 pm.
- Saturday, February 24 - KTCCCA Middle School Indoor State Meet - Doors open at 8 am. Meet starts at 10 am and uses a rolling schedule.
- Sunday, February 25 - KTCCCA Elementary Indoor State Meet - Doors open at 8 am. Meet starts at 10 am and uses a rolling schedule.
- Monday, February 26 - JCPS Middle School Monday - Doors open at 3:30 pm. Meet runs 4:30-7:30 pm.
"This has been such an incredible year for the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center and the track community," said ASM Global Assistant General Manager Marcus McAlpin. "We have seen a record number of athletes at nearly every event and we are excited to see a culmination of their efforts pay off this weekend at these indoor state meets. We are expecting some very exciting performances from a strong field of athletes."
