A celebration of Black culinary talent in Louisville, supporting local chefs and giving back to the community through food and fellowship.

The Louisville Black Chef Showcase is an annual event created to celebrate and elevate Black culinary talent in the Louisville area. Featuring tastings from a wide range of chefs, caterers, and food entrepreneurs, the event invites guests to sample dishes, vote for their favorites, and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with music, drinks, and community connection. More than just a food event, the showcase serves a larger purpose: to highlight underrepresented talent in the culinary industry and to give back to the community. Proceeds from the event support local causes—from the Louisville Urban League in its inaugural year to the Western High School culinary program the following year—helping to empower both established professionals and the next generation of chefs.
