Founded by Latonia Goodrich, BS, MSBC, MAT, M.Ed, MHP it is more than a support network; it is a heartfelt community rooted in love, resilience, and profound understanding.

Join us for the 1st Annual Awareness for Dementia Community Fair & 5K Run/Walk, hosted by the Alma Roberta Elliott Awareness for Dementia Foundation, Inc., on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center (3029 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd). This meaningful event is dedicated to raising awareness and support for individuals and families affected by dementia. The day will begin with registration at 8:15 AM, followed by the 5K Run/Walk starting at 9:00 AM on the venue’s outdoor track—no street activity involved. The event will run until 1:00 PM, offering a community-focused atmosphere filled with connection, purpose, and movement. For just $25, participants will receive a commemorative race T-shirt and tumbler. Come out, get active, and help make a difference!
